privacy policy
Last updated: July 2026. This is a plain-language summary of how Rager handles data on this website and in the app.
the short version
Rooms are ephemeral. When a room ends, its live content (speech, emotes, soundboard activity) is gone — we don't keep a public archive of what happened at the party.
what this website collects
The website (rager.party) collects anonymous funnel analytics: which step of the link-to-install journey you reached (link opened, store button tapped, etc.). No advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no cookies for tracking. If you join the Android waitlist we store the email you give us, only to tell you when Android launches.
room preview pages
A room link (rager.party/<code>) shows aggregate information only: how many people are in the room, an anonymized vibe, and the host's display handle. It never shows a member list or any live room content.
what the app collects
Account details (email, date of birth for the 18+ gate, display handle), room membership while a room is live, purchases, and safety records (reports, moderation actions, bans). Live room audio and text are processed to run the room and filtered for safety, not published.
who we share with
Service providers that run our infrastructure (hosting, authentication, payments). We don't sell personal data.
your choices
You can delete your account in the app, which removes your profile and personal data from our systems within 30 days (safety records may be retained where required). Waitlist emails include an opt-out.
