staying safe on rager

you have to be 13 or older

Rager is for people who are 13 or older. If you are younger than 13, you can't use it yet — sorry! If you see someone who looks too young to be here, report them in the app or tell us. We check those reports first, and we remove accounts that break this rule.

nobody knows your real name

On rager you pick a fun handle, like @glowstick. You never have to use your real name. When you share a room link, people who open it can see the party — but rager never shows your phone number, your email, or who you really are.

tools to stop mean people

Every room has a host. The host can mute someone (so they can't talk), kick them out, or ban them from the room. You can also block or report anyone yourself — just tap their bubble. Messages get checked by a filter before anyone sees them, and people who keep being mean get banned from all of rager.

parties disappear when they end

Rooms don't last forever. When a room ends, everything in it is gone — nobody can scroll back later, screenshot old messages, or dig up what you said. That's on purpose: it keeps one bad moment from following you around.

things we never allow

Some things get you banned instantly and forever: sexual stuff involving anyone under 18, real threats to hurt someone, sharing someone's private info (like their address), or anything that puts people in danger. When the law requires it, we also tell the police.

a note for parents

Rager is a live, unscripted space — like a group call with drawings, emojis, and sounds. Rooms are invite-by-link, text is filtered, and everything disappears when the room ends. Questions? Contact us any time.
